Thanks for coming to meet me. I’ve been studying and making art for almost my entire life. Art in its many aspects captures all my attention after family. Visual art conveys human communication the same as music, writing and speaking. It tells the story of mankind. I use the rich nuanced visual vocabulary that art affords to describe my thoughts and opinions.

Artist's Statement
“I often find myself occupied in the observation and recording of the contradictions and the curious contrasts with which we all live. My art describes our natural or contrived environment and the effects we humans exert on it. Sometimes we work in concert with nature; other times we destroy it. Sometimes it overpowers us.
“I am investigating the ways I can illustrate our attempts to manipulate and to rediscover nature. I deliberately arrange the formal elements of art to examine the complexity of our interaction and to craft harmonious compositions.
Marge Feldman 2019
Artist's Biography
Marge Feldman is a formally schooled professional artist who has been taking classes, since age 12, from the former Museum School of Philadelphia, Moore Institute, Syracuse University (BFA), The Philadelphia Institute of Art, Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), and Towson University (Art Teaching Certificate).
Ms. Feldman has lived in seven different states and traveled extensively in North America and on five other continents. This rich experience has expanded her knowledge and fertilized her work.
She has taught art in public and private schools K-12, at the Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers, and at the Tyme Gallery in Havertown, PA. She has exhibited extensively in Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Maryland, in juried and group shows, as well as invitational and solo exhibits.
She founded Women Artists’ Forum (100+ members) in Baltimore and, among other initiatives, established a gallery for them at Carroll Museums, Inc., in downtown Baltimore. These days, she is leading the development of a new full fledged art studio in her retirement community by designing and advising on space use, classes, teaching and stocking of basic supplies.
After 2 years of the COVID19 pandemic and health changes, Marge now teaches Bridge and Drawing classes in her retirement community in Rockville, Md.
